Our Zinc oxide is produced from naturally occurring zinc ore. It is cosmetic-grade,  uncoated, non-nano zinc oxide.  it is pure and free from other metals. Particle size is 200-1000 nanometer (nm) or 0.2-1 micrometer (µm),  This is the type of zinc oxide that is naturally occurring in the earth.

Zinc oxide is a mineral that works to reflect and absorb the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays. It is the favored ingredient used by natural and organic skin-care producers, it is  nontoxic, eco-friendly and is a broad-spectrum blocker, providing protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

Zinc Oxide has wonderful astringent properties, It is often used in lotions and creams meant for outdoor use and has a soothing effect especially on irritated skin. Due to its particle size, it has a whitening effect on skin and can therefore be used as coverage for makeup products. It is also often used to thicken lotions and creams.

Our non-nano zinc oxide with particle size above 100, ensures that the particles will remain on the surface of the skin and will not be absorbed into the body.
