Vitamin E oil is a naturally-derived oil with antioxidant benefits, which explains its growing popularity in skincare, Vitamin E exists in foods like avocados, almonds, olive oil, and sweet potatoes, and some people consume vitamin E as an oral capsule, but its primarily used in skin care (The ingredient is sometimes listed as tocopherol, a form of vitamin E.)

Vitamin E oil  can help reduce the appearance of scars. Free radicals in the environment make it harder for scars to heal, applying vitamin E oil can aid diminish or fade marks on the skin, including stretch marks. It may also help moisturize skin. While vitamin E’s main role in creams and lotions is as an antioxidant, it could help soften skin as well.

Our Vitamin oil is 0.25% Tocopherol, the optimal level for skin absorption. Tocopherol is a form of vitamin E which is naturally occurring in many vegetable oils. Natural Vitamin E is more easily absorbed by the skin and better than the synthetic version. Ours  is certified cruelty free and vegan friendly, Unlike our full spectrum vitamin E which has to be used in a maximum 2% dilution in formulation,  this form of Vitamin E oil can be used at 100%  directly on the skin or in formulation.

Common Uses/ Benefits

Vitamin E is required in most cosmetic formulations in very small amounts in order to prevent oils from oxidizing.  When fixed oils oxidize, they develop a rancid smell, and can turn products brown in color, which will ruin the appearance of finished products.  This can be prevented  by adding vitamin E to formulations.
