Varisoft EQ 65 is a vegetable derived, readily biodegradable cationic ester quat conditioner and  thickener for making all kinds of unique, top quality conditioning products. Varisoft EQ 65 creates products with a very rich and creamy appearance.

Varisoft EQ 65 has a high flash point and helps to improve the conditioning properties of wet and dry hair. It can also act as an emulsifier providing a sensory profile typical of cationic emulsions. It is a versatile, easy to use product made from high purity stearic acid and is compounded with Cetearyl Alcohol.

It is environmentally friendly since it is vegetable based and biodegradable and will give your products that green label. In addition to a much better feel in products,  it gives a very unique dry powdery sensation, in skin and hair care products typical of cationic skin feel.

Manufacturer suggested Usage :0.5 to 10%  in water at approximately 75 °C. Addition of nonionic emulsifiers such as Ceteareth-25, would improve the processing of Varisoft EQ 65 Pellets in water. Varisoft EQ 65 Pellets shows great stability at lower pH values. At formulation-pH of 5 and above, Varisoft EQ 65 Pellets tends to hydrolyze. Therefore, we recommend adjusting the pH of a cream rinse conditioner formulation containing Varisoft EQ 65 Pellets to around 4.
