Description

Shea Butter (Cold-Pressed) – A premium, unrefined butter crafted to preserve purity, nutrients, and performance.

Our cold-pressed shea butter is produced using a carefully controlled extraction process that combines traditional knowledge with gentle mechanical methods. Only high-grade shea nuts are selected at the harvesting stage,  a critical step that determines the purity, texture, and nutrient density of the final butter.

The nuts are processed with minimal heat to ensure the natural actives remain intact. The result is a soft, pale-yellow butter with the characteristic mild nutty/smoky aroma of authentic West African shea butter. This environmentally conscious production method delivers a more consistent texture and appearance, while protecting the butter’s healing and moisturizing properties.

Please Note: This is a raw, unrefined, natural product. No harsh machinery or high-heat processing is used, ensuring its nutrients remain preserved and its appearance remains true to nature.

Country of Origin: Nigeria
Extraction Method: Cold-pressed (Semi-mechanized extraction).
Appearance: Pale yellow, grainy (melts on contact with skin), soft, creamy butter
Aroma: Mild nutty/smoky scent, softer than handcrafted handcrafted shea butter

Recommended Usage: 0.5–100%
Suitable for: Creams, lotions, balms, soaps, hair products, baby-care formulations, after-sun care, make-up foundations, and body butters. When incorporating into emulsions:Gently warm the butter in a heat-proof jar using low heat or a bain-marie to maintain its nutritional profile. Always conduct small-batch testing before scaling any formulation.

Common Uses & Benefits

Shea butter is prized for its rich emollient profile and ability to deeply nourish dry, chapped, or compromised skin. It melts effortlessly on contact with skin, making it a versatile ingredient in moisturizers, conditioners, cleansers, luxury soaps, and lip care.

Storage

For best texture, store body butters in the refrigerator; they may soften in warm temperatures.
Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight.
The butter may liquefy above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36°C) but will re-solidify without affecting functionality.
