Rosemary Extract contains powerful antioxidant, carnosic acid, as well as astringent properties, making it a popular choice in personal care products to help maintain skin elasticity and improve skin tone. Rosemary extract can also enhance blood circulation to the scalp, also making it a popular addition to hair care products to aid healthy hair growth and nourishment.

Rosemary Oil Extract is derived from dried rosemary leaves and it is an extremely effective anti-oxidant to extend the life of vegetable oils and to retard rancidity (This will not do anything for oil that is already going rancid, start with a clean oil). Our Rosemary extract is preserved with phenoxyethanol .

Standardized to possess 70% rosemary leaf extract

Appearance: Light to dark liquid

Manufacturers suggested Usage : 1-10% in formulations

Processing Method: Prepared in a cold process to avoid potential loss of efficacy presented by heat processing.

Common Uses

Rosemary extract has anti-oxidative (Stops oils from going rancid quickly), anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, but it is predominantly an anti-oxidant and not a preservative.Widely used as an anti-oxidant agent in a variety of personal and skin care formulations. It may darken the colour of lightener oil blends. Used in anti-aging and anti-inflammatory body care products.
