Our Neroli hydrosol is steamed distilled from certified organic citrus aurantium in small batches using specialized equipment to preserve its efficacy, because it is steamed in small batches just before shipment, this practically guarantees that it is super fresh.

Neroli is known for its distictive and complex scent structure. It’s slightly citrusy, floral and spicy all at once! Neroli hydrosol has a scent that appeals to all gender. Neroli is favored in perfumery due to its unique balanced scent of bitter and sweet. Its fresh scent makes a perfect, all-natural facial toner. 

In skin care, it offers astringency, making it appropriate for oily and acne skin types.

With its scent profile, very similar to the essential oil and containing small amounts of the pricey neroli essential oil, neroli hydrosol is an inexpensive way to experience the wonderful benefits of neroli at a fraction of the cost!.

Hydrosols are cherished for their therapeutic properties to the skin and body,  and as such may have a lighter/milder scent than floral waters. Hydrosols contain the plant’s cellular water and other volatile botanical compounds that are beneficial to skin and hair. When applied to the skin, in either skin care products or directly sprayed onto the face, its potent plant benefits are passed onto the  skin. Preserved with  1% Linatural: INCI: Propanediol (and) ethylhexyl glycerin (and) potassium sorbate.

Hydrosols are fragile, and as such are preserved to avoid contamination by mold and bacteria that can lead to health risks. The preservative in this hydrosol is Linatural. Linatural is a naturally derived, highly effective, broad spectrum preservative with no compromising related health issues. It’s a paraben-free preservative which means it won’t release formaldehyde into your finished product like paraben-based preservatives do.

The ingredients in Linatural preservative are:

• Approved by Ecocert, NPA, Health Canada and USDA as a bio-based, all-natural derived preservative and kosher certified.
• Propanediol can be synthetically produced,  However, the type in our hydrosol is not synthetically produced.
• Widely globally acceptable
• Broad spectrum
• Gluten free, Non-GMO
• This preservative won’t release formaldehyde into your finished product
• Not tested on animals, vegan
• Provides minor skin moisturizing benefits

Common Uses/ Benefits

Neroli Hydrosol can be used directly on the skin, It can also be used as part or all of the water phase in your formulation, it can be used in creams and lotions, as well as in room and body sprays.

Neroli Hydrosol can be used for any skin and body care applications, but is especially suited to skin care products geared toward balancing oily or acne skin types. Neroli is great blended with other hydrosols.

Try combining with Lavender Hydrosol and Rose hydrosol for combination / oily skin types. Neroli hydrosol provides astringent, calming and  anti-anxiety benefits.
