Murumuru butter does not go rancid easily because of its numerous short-chain fatty acids. Murumuru Butter consists of laureic, myristic, and oleic acid, as well as vitamins A and C. Plant Butter Texture: Plant butters may partially or fully melt if they are exposed to warmer temperatures. This is sometimes an issue for natural butters that are shipped through warmer areas. Crystallization or graininess occurs when a vegetable butter melts, either intentionally or accidentally during warm conditions, and then cools back down too slowly. This is a natural occurrence that does not impact the quality or usability of the butter.
Recommended Storage: Body butters are ideally stored in a refrigerator to maintain its texture. It will become soft in warmer temperatures. Store in air tight containers; in a cool dry area; away from direct sunlight.
Shelf Life: Typical shelf life is about 2.5yrs when stored properly. store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C) away from light and moisture in an air-tight container.
