Mulberry extract comes from the mulberry fruits, the extract has been used for centuries in Chinese Medicine. Mulberries contain anthocyanins, and several potent antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals and slow the aging process.  As a result of its rich antioxidants content, it is touted as a fruit for anti-aging, which is why it is widely used in anti-aging skin care.

Mulberry extracts are natural lightening ingredients often used as an alternative to Hydroquinone. It contains rich anti-oxidant properties extremely beneficial in preventing wrinkles formation, and achieving  flawless, silky smooth skin. Our mulberry botanical extract is a concentrated solution extracted first with a specified eluant to yield a concentrate. This concentrate is then dissolved in glycerin and water at a concentration of 20 % concentrate and 80% diluents.

Our mulberry extract contains 20% extract in glycerine, preserved with phenoxyethanol .

Appearance: Reddish to dark brown liquid

Manufacturers suggested Usage : 1- 3% in formulations, Add to formulas to the water phase.

Solubility: pH ~5,  water-soluble

Processing Method: Prepared in a cold process to avoid potential loss of effectiveness heat processing can have.

Common Uses/Benefits

Widely used as in products for improving skin texture, skin lightening products, serums, face creams, anti-aging, masks, makeup.

• Lightens age spots and uneven skin tone. Can be combined with other skin lighteners such as  licorice extract, kojic acid,  and alpha-arbutin.
• Very nutritious for the hair and hair roots
• Has antioxidant and cleansing properties

Storage: Store in cool dry place away from sunlight

Shelf life: Approximately 18months
