Our Purple Red Mica is a bold, richly saturated pigment that delivers a vibrant pop of color with a soft, elegant shimmer.

Its cosmetic-grade fineness and iron-oxide coating ensure smooth dispersion and a luminous finish, making it a standout choice for lip balms, glosses, lipsticks, mineral makeup, soap swirls and  cosmetic bases. This pigment is derived from natural mineral mica and coated with cosmetic-grade iron oxide for purity, stability, and a smooth, even finish.

With its small micron size, this mica spreads evenly, offers excellent coverage, and requires only a tiny amount to achieve high-impact color.

Exceptionally versatile, it can be used in nail polish, body butters, oils, eyeshadows, bath bombs, lip products, aroma beads, candles, resin art, watercolor paints, blushers, and general craft projects. It can also be dusted onto candles, polymer clay, and soap surfaces for added shimmer. Blend it with opaque pigments or mix different mica shades to create custom colors.

This free-flowing, lustrous powder adds dimension to formulations and creates stunning pearlized effects in mineral makeup. It performs beautifully in clear or translucent melt-and-pour soaps as well as white cosmetic bases like lotions, creams, and body butters. In solution, it suspends evenly, resulting in a smooth, shimmering finish.
