Mica is a mineral based powder frequently used in cosmetics. Made from natural minerals, our mica powder has a small micron size (giving great cover, dispersion, and the all-important shimmer) and you only need a small amount to create lustrous effects. Hugely versatile, you can use our mica powder in nail polish, body butter/wax, oil, face products, and  cosmetics such as eyeshadow, lip products and blusher. Decorate the surface of candles, polymer clay and even soap with it. Mix it with opaque colours to add shimmer and try mixing micas together to create new shades

It does not melt at firing temperatures but rather sticks to the molten glass. For best results, use between glass layers.This free flowing lustrous powder has a bold fiery red color and is great for adding edge to any product. Perfect for blending in mineral make-up to create a pearlized effect. Ideal for clear or translucent Melt & Pour soaps and white cosmetic bases such as lotion, creams and body butter.The mica will suspend within solution resulting in a shimmering finish.
