Our Current batch of Premium Castile soap is made from a combination of unrefined virgin oils including olive oil and carrot oil. It is thicker and more concentrated but mild to the skin. It does not contain thickeners or detergents. Only pure saponified oils. 

Castile soap is an amazingly versatile vegetable-based soap! It is made free of animal fats and synthetic ingredients.

It is natural, nontoxic, and biodegradable, hence its popularity in both beauty products and as a household cleaner. It effectively cleans everything from the skin to kitchen sinks! Castile soap is available in bar or liquid form.

Originally from the Mediterranean area before its use spread to Europe, Castile soap was traditionally made with  olive oil. These days, the soap is also made with coconut, castor, or hemp seed oils. Sometimes it is made with avocado oil, walnut, and  almond oils as well. These oils give the soap its lathering, moisturizing, and cleansing properties.

It gets its name from the Castile region of Spain. Castile soap is an exciting product since it’s not only environmentally friendly, but also incredibly useful for both body care, cleaning, and even for pets care. Castile soap is generally safe and gentle.
