Lauryl glucoside is one of several non-ionic surfactants found within the polyglycoside family. It is obtained from coconuts, making it a naturally derived renewable resource.  It provides a mild and gentle lather base for body washes, facial cleansers, shampoos, bubble bath, and other liquid cleansing formulations.

Lauryl glucoside holds a thicker texture than decyl glucoside.

Lauryl glucoside provides an effective way of making a high quality ”sudsing” action in product without the harsh effects on the skin.

Great for baby wash, Pet safe shampoo and  Sensitive skin formulation.

This ingredient is approved for use within Whole Foods formulations, and it holds a green scale rating of “1” on the Skin Deep / EWG website.  EcoCert approved for certified organic formulations.  Sulfate free.

Appearance:  Clear to slightly yellowish vicious liquid (pls note  lauryl glucoside is white and thick.  It needs to be heated in order to be brought to a liquid non-white color.  When its heated, it will be light yellow and stay light yellow in a formulation that contains water).

Manufacturers suggested Usage : 1 to 25%, depending on desired foaming effect.
