Description
Hydrolyzed wheat protein is an amber colored liquid derived from wheat germ. The hydrolysis of wheat involves an acidic, alkaline, or enzymatic process to extract the wheat nutrients which include proteins (amino acids) and peptides. Hydrolyzed wheat proteins are important as they are derived from a natural source, wheat. They easily penetrates the hair shaft and absorbs into the inner fibers of the hair because of their low molecular weight, unlike other proteins available in hair care products. And, they not only thicken hair, but they repair damaged hair by fortifying with proteins and add shine and manageability to hair. Hydrolyzed wheat protein is well known for its strengthening properties and its ability to penetrate the cortex and deliver replenishment through its high Cystine to Hair. It is an excellent choice for strengthening and repairing hair weakened by chemical treatments and regular hair maintenance. Hydrolyzed wheat proteins helps to thicken and add volume to thinning hair, add shine and manageability, and repair damaged hair. This makes it an ideal choice for hair waving systems, post-perm conditioners and products for damaged hair. For Skin care, Wheat Protein has been shown as one of the most effective pore minimizers in modern skin care, providing the porcelain look when utilized in facial cleansers, toners, serums, gels, or lotions. Provides balanced moisture, and gently nourishes. Our hydrolyzed Wheat protein is preserved with a paraben free and an Ecocert approved preservative system approved for use in organic products.
