Our hydrosol is steamed distilled in small batches using specialized equipment to preserve its efficacy. Because it is steamed in small batches, this practically guarantees that it is super fresh.

Chamomile Hydrosol is a product of the steam distillation of chamomile flowers.  It has a delicate herbaceous fragrance with subtle floral notes. 

Hydrosol waters can be used in lotions, creams, bath preparations or straight on the skin. They provide mild tonic and skin cleansing properties and are generally safe for all skin types

Chamomile Hydrosol  is an excellent addition to skin care products and is used to aid in the treatment of acne, eczema and psoriasis as well as exerting a balancing action on sebum and promoting new cell growth.

Hydrosols are cherished for their therapeutic properties to the skin,  and as such may have a lighter scent than floral waters. If your looking for a scent that matches essential oil then check out our floral waters.  Floral waters are designed to add a scent to formulations, whereas hydrosol waters are designed more for their benefits to the skin,  their natural scent is an added benefit.

Hydrosol make great soothing and refreshing facial sprays, they can also be used in room sprays, lotions, facial toners, or simply poured into a spray bottle and use directly on the skin.

Chamomile Hydrosol is calming, anti-inflammatory and balancing. It can be used as a soothing wetting agent for natural baby wipes, used in skin care products or applied directly on the skin, to get its intrinsic passed to the  skin.

Hydrosols are fragile, and as such are preserved to avoid contamination by mold and bacteria that can lead to health risks.

Common Uses/ Benefits

Chamomile Hydrosol can be used directly on the skin. It can also be used as part or all of the water phase for nonionic or creams and lotions, as well as in room and body sprays.

Chamomile Hydrosol can be used for any skin and body care applications, but is especially suited to skin care products geared toward balancing dry or oily skin types.
