Amla (Indian gooseberry) can be immensely beneficial for the skin, hair and  general health.  Amla juice  has been known to combat signs of  aging, while its paste can work wonders for the hair. It has 8 times more vitamin C than an orange, twice the antioxidant power of acai berry and around 17 times that of a pomegranate. It provides remedies for a lot of diseases and widely used in Ayurvedic treatments. Amla powder is made from the ground  leaves of the Indian gooseberry. It’s been popularly used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries to treat numerous health issues.

Amla is rich in antioxidants that help to reduce signs of premature aging, like wrinkles and fine lines. It reduces pigmentation or dark spots on skin and restores a natural glow. The vitamins in Amla helps  boost the production of collagen, which in turn helps to keep the skin smooth, youthful and more radiant.

The antioxidants and vitamin C in Amla, help to brighten, tone and tighten the skin. Amla powder also exfoliates and cleanses the skin, by removing the dead cells.

For stronger, healthier hair, Amla powder serves as a rich source of essential fatty acids, that nourishes the hair from the roots.  It been known to prevent premature greying, promote healthy hair growth and condition dry scalp. It’s ability to promote Lustrous hair growth has been linked to its high content of Vitamin E, vitamin C, tannins, phosphorus, iron and calcium.
