Our Cold Pressed Coconut oil is  extracted from coconuts without the application of heat. It differs from heat pressed coconut oil mainly with the method of extraction.

Be it hair care, skin care, body care, or health care, coconut oil of the most commonly used carrier oils for essential oils. There are valid reasons people call this a super oil. It serves as one of the most effective carrier oils because it has a lower molecular weight when compared to other oils and thus, helping it to penetrate deeper into the skin after it is applied.

Rich with antifungal, antioxidants, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, coconut oil is also excellent for both rejuvenating the skin and hair.

Common Uses/Benefits

Its saturated fatty acids help moisturize the skin profoundly, giving an even and smoother skin tone. Its antimicrobial and antiseptic properties make it perfect as a carrier oil, especially for getting rid of skin conditions like dry scalp, eczema, cold sores, and acne.

Coconut Carrier Oil can be used to create variety of products such as massage oils, body balms, lip balms, lotions and cold process soaps. It is one of the most preferred oils in soap making because soap made with coconut oil tends to be hard, and retains more water than those made with other oils and therefore increases manufacturer yields. It is more soluble in hard water and salt water than other soaps allowing it to lather more easily. Coconut oil is also used in cosmetic manufacturing industries.

 

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.
